There are few experiences more awe inspiring than taking a gondola ride in Venice, with a gondolier in the Grand Canal in front of Santa Maria della Salute. These Gondola’s are long, sleek, black and slightly crooked. Similar in some ways to a canoe, but slightly more luxurious, guided through the waters of Venice by single oar, worked by a professional gondolier.
